Hi, my name is Christopher Vu and I’m pursuing Scientific Computing and Applied Mathematics because I am fascinated by solving complex real-world problems through mathematical principles and computational methods. Being the first person in my family to go to college, I didn’t know what college consisted of, so the Next Gen Sam Program mentors have helped me in many ways such as answering my questions and giving me advice. Furthermore, the program has helped me financially to further my education in hopes of getting a STEM-related jobs in the future.
